I can't thank you enough for the work you did with Piper. I knew she had the
potential; I just didn't have the time or the knowledge to bring it out. The
work you have done with her continues to show in her enthusiasm to learn as
well as her drive to retrieve. She handles unknown situations with ease now
and is excelling in blind work and handling. You were able to harness her
desire and drive to create a well mannered, eager to please GUN DOG.

I am so happy and proud of Guinness, it is difficult to describe. Your knowledge, skills, patience, and determination to force break Guinness sure paid off. He has yet to fail at a retrieve with me. He will be new hunting dog with me and my sons. I can’t believe the aggressiveness that he has developed toward retrieving. As you recall, I kept in contact with you during the months you had Guinness to get updates on his progress, as I was eager to get my hunting buddy back. You were always very attentive to my questions and also very patient with me. I can’t wait to get him out in the blind/field this season. Working with Josh has helped me take my dogs retrieving skills to the next level. This is the first retriever I have owned as well as the first retriever I have trained. In the beginning I read the books, watched DVD’s, etc. I thought I knew what to do. Worked with my dog to the point he could stay steady under gun fire and do simple single retrieves land and water. I wanted more though, I met up with Josh and we began training nearly once a week. His skill and understanding of how the dog is thinking makes him an excellent trainer. He is able to read the dog and adjust our training as necessary. Since working with Josh, my dog is now marking better than before, making long single retrieves, and working on casts. Casting the dog is somewhere I never thought I would get too. I’ve been very fortunate to work with Josh and would recommend him to anyone.
